Pogles Wood Forest School

Folk South West has developed a new Forest School site on the Dorset/Somerset border. From this Spring we will be running a family day every month: April 5, May 15, June 12, July 10. All the days are either a Saturday or in the school holidays.

Our aim is to provide a safe outdoor environment where families can come together to spend time in outdoor activities.

Each day will offer a variety of games, crafts and activities designed to encourage learning about the outdoor environment and will also include campfire cooking, singing and storytelling.

We do have some shelter but please dress for any sort of English weather!

The activities will be run and supervised by trained adults and can be adapted to accommodate children of all ages, with some additional parent/adult help where needed.

Pogles Wood is also available for School Visits.

Easter School

Date: 08/Apr/2010 to 11/Apr/2010

This is an annual four-day event which takes place on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Easter. It is a chance for singers and instrumentalists to immerse themselves in workshops and other music and dance activity with some of the very best tutors. Participants have the chance to work on both style and technique in a thoroughly supportive atmosphere and environment. The 2010 event will also feature a four day Live Wires Graduates course for 14-18 year olds.
